During the summer, Embers lives in a malt house. His summer home is always occupied by farm workers during the winter. He would then fly into the flue of the nearest chimney. His little feathers used to be as white as snow but turned to a bluish-grey with his hot pipe living. Embers believes that one can prevent flu in a flue during winter. He has a naturally hoarse voice, pristine sense of smell and loves to chew on maple-cured bacon while flapping his blue-grey wings.
